Controls Assurance (Technology Risk & Cybersecurity), VP
Who we are looking for
State Street Global Technology Services (GTS) is seeking a skilled and proven Controls Assurance, Vice President to support a revamped controls assurance program to ensure implementation of the right level of standards and policies. This candidate should have experience delivering outcomes with operational excellence. The candidate should have experience with company risk and controls assurance; they will work across business lines and with the second and third-line partners to help improve our risk management standing.
What you will be responsible for
• Assist with the review and enhancement of current standards to fulfill regulatory expectations
• Review end-to-end processes that are operating in the GTS environment to assess effectiveness around supporting the standards
• Review the control effectiveness from a process effectiveness perspective
• Help to remediate document gaps against optimal process effectiveness
• Support remediation actions or supporting strategic programs necessary to address gaps
• Provide regular status updates and supporting project management reports; deliver reporting for senior management

• Knowledge of Technology Risk and Cybersecurity frameworks and standards (COBIT, NIST & ITIL etc.,) is required.
• Familiar with and has experience managing, global initiatives including timelines, status, interdependencies, resource allocation, risk and issues management

• Ability to operate in an agile manner to address challenges that come up
• Strong project planning skills and expertise in program management, across multiple work-streams
• Candidate is knowledgeable with effective business writing methods and techniques and can clearly articulate impactful messaging
• Skilled in producing reporting for senior
• Candidate can work independently while sharing expertise with colleagues and others
• Ability to solve complex problems with support from management
• Manages stakeholder needs and expectations while providing consistent and regular communications with support from management
• Supports the fulfillment of organizational strategies and objectives
• Able to effectively balance multiple tasks through careful prioritization
• Candidate can work collaboratively with others to produce a quality work product
• Advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 - 10 years proven experience with general risk management, auditing standards, and best practice.

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
